We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to fill our Business Development Manager role. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, friendly and not afraid to pick up the phone to talk to leads and prospects. The person will have experience selling high-end software and be knowledgeable about broad ranges of businesses and business processes which will enable them to quickly understand prospects’ needs and empathize with their pains. The candidate will have excellent writing skills which will facilitate the crafting of strong proposals as part of the sales process. The person will be excited about helping our company grow and prospects will want to do business with them.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for driving our sales process, from managing our marketing campaign efforts, generating leads and driving the leads through our sales process to close. This will involve calling on leads and prospects at the C-level, both over the phone and in person to build relationships and nurture them through the sales cycle. The position will coordinate with PC Bennett and Acumatica resources to assist in the sales cycle all the while managing the relationship with the prospect.

Requirements

  • US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply
  • Expert level knowledge of sales processes
  • Experience selling business-level Accounting Software (NetSuite, Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage  or similar) to C-level prospects
  • Knowledgeable about business and business processes
  • A high degree of professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and having good attention to detail are essential
  • Must be a self-starter
  • College degree
